Mama's Sause

Mom's classic meatballs, fried then simmered in the sause.

main sunday-dinner simmer at least 1/2 hr or so makes a batch

Ingredients

  • approx 1 1/2 lbs good ground meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teasp salt
  • 1/4 cup parm cheese
  • 1/4 teasp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup breadrumbs (Italian)
  • 2 tablspoons dried parsley

Steps

  1. Mix well with CLEAN Hands and fry in a little bit of olive oil.
  2. Add to sause, and simmer for at least 1/2 hr or so.

A family staple — these go straight into the Sunday sause.
