Chicken Soup
from Chris's kitchen.
Sautéed carrots, onion, and celery simmered in chicken broth with cooked chicken, finished with pasta, egg noodles, or rice.
Ingredients
- diced carrots
- diced onions
- diced celery
- a little olive oil
- 2 cartons chicken broth
- already cooked chicken pieces
- 1/2 box already cooked pasta, bag of egg noodles, or approx 2 cup cooked rice
- salt if needed
Steps
- Sauté diced carrots, onions + celery in a little olive oil, cook until tender.
- Add 2 cartons chicken broth and pieces of already cooked chicken.
- Cook 10 min or so on low heat.
- Add 1/2 box already cooked pasta or bag of egg noodles or approx 2 cup cooked rice.
- Let sit for 10 min + serve.
- Add more chicken broth + salt if needed.
