Garlic Knot Topping

A simple garlic-Parmesan oil for tossing warm baked garlic knots. Mostly cheese, generously seasoned—taste as you go and adjust to your liking.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vegetable oil (or corn oil for best flavor)
  • 2 heaping tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 heaping teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon or more to taste

Steps

  1. Combine the oil, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Toss warm baked garlic knots in the mixture until coated.
